Which springs go on the front and which on the rear?

Whiteline Performance springs have a similar appearance to the original (factory) springs plus each spring is individually labelled with a part number followed by “F” for front and “R” for rear making them easily identifiable.

Which side is the top of the spring?

Each spring has a unique shape and design which ensures correct fitment on the vehicle. Whiteline Performance Springs are engineered for superior fit and go on the same way the originals do. We recommend you contact Whiteline should they not look 100% correct.

Are Whiteline springs hot or cold rolled (wound)?

Whiteline performance springs are cold rolled and individually scragged (blocked) for optimum longevity.

Should I measure my new Whiteline performance springs before installation to check they are shorter than the originals?

No. Open lengths of springs do not represent the finished heights once on the vehicle.

Is a wheel alignment test required after installation?

Yes. We highly recommend you have your wheel alignment checked after any suspension ride height modification.

Can I purchase Whiteline Performance Springs individually?

No. Whiteline Performance Springs are sold in complete sets of four springs ensuring optimal vehicle balance.

What are progressive rate springs?

Also known as variable rate, progressive rate springs are designed to provide improved performance without compromising ride quality characteristics. They do this by keeping the initial spring rate low (for a smooth ride) but increasing the rate progressively as the spring compresses (for improved performance).

Should I drive the vehicle before measuring the finished heights?

Yes. We recommend you take a short drive prior to measuring the heights. This allows the springs to settle into the mounting points.

How do I measure the before and after heights?

The most common method of measuring vehicle heights is from the centre of the wheel up to the guard. It’s important the vehicle is on a flat surface when taking measurements.
