Rear Differential Mount - Rear Bushing Kit to Suit BMW F8X M2, M3 and M4

Benefit Note: The S55 makes more torque than the mounting hardware behind it was ever asked to control. The F8X rear differential sits in four rubber bushes at the front bracket and a single rubber mount at the rear - and that single rear mount becomes a pivot. Under hard acceleration the diff twists against it, so the first part of every throttle application goes into deflecting rubber instead of driving the car. You feel it as lash, as a shunt or clunk picking up throttle mid-corner, and as a rear axle that squirms when it should be hooking up. It's also a wear item: the OE rear mount is commonly failing and a worn one makes the rear of the car feel genuinely unstable.

WHAT IT DELIVERS:
* Throttle response you feel immediately. Polyurethane replaces the deflection in all four front bracket bushes and the rear mount, so torque reaches the tyres instead of winding up the mounts.
* The second mounting point BMW left out. The CNC-machined aluminium dual-mount bracket adds a second rear mount, removing the pivot the diff has been rotating around and stopping the housing twisting under load.
* A rear end that stays settled. Locate the diff properly and corner-exit squirm and driveline shunt go with it - the car puts power down cleanly and predictably.
* Fit it once. Polyurethane doesn't perish, soften or collapse like the OE rubber it replaces, so this is the last time the diff mounts need touching.

Expect a modest increase in NVH - that's the trade for control.

Your parts will then be delivered to your closest Whiteline workshop and an installation date will be booked based on your preference. You then bring your car on the booking date and Whiteline will manage the installation for you.

Installation includes full product installation by a qualified suspension technician, a full wheel alignment, a complete suspension check, a visual brake inspection, and a complete report. We also offer a complimentary 1000km check-up service, which includes a suspension check and any retention work, your alignment and tyre wear will also be checked. If we find that anything needs to be amended during our 1000km check, we will carry out this work free of charge. This includes a wheel alignment, if required.
