Suspension bushings provide the movement and/or mounting points in your vehicleâ€™s suspension system. Hence these suspension components can influence both the ride quality, steering feel, as well as the grip of the tyres, performance of the brakes, and stability of the shock absorbers. Should these suspension components be worn, an unpredictable and more to the point unsafe motor vehicle can be the result.Benefit Note: By matching key bushing, Whiteline's Performance Gear Shift Kit has been engineered to eliminate that sloppy, plush shifter feel found in the rubber OEM bushings. By drastically reducing the bushing compliance, improves the crispness of cross gate up and downshifts removing the potential of missed and poor shifts. The kit utilises a high tensile extruded alloy link fitted with ultra low compliance synthetic elastomer bushings. Critical hardware is replaced with high tensile components to match the higher loads. The result is much more precise and direct roll control with up to 25% more effective bar rate available at lower wheel deflection points. This does NOT mean an outright increase in your bar rate but rather a quickening of its effect allowing more bar rate earlier. Link shape and bush mounts are designed to allow maximum sway bar articulation to ensure full suspension travel while acting more directly under vertical load. Standard length maintains correct sway bar operation.
