Bushing Grease for Suspension Bushes

Whiteline Ezy Grease is formulated for compatible bushing applications where lubrication is specified. Whiteline describes the lubricant as using a reinforced No. 2 lithium complex base with selected additives and molybdenum disulphide, providing mechanical stability, extreme-pressure properties and a minimum drop point of 230?C.

Its purpose is practical rather than cosmetic. Appropriate lubrication can help manage friction at the surfaces specified in the bush installation instructions, while Whiteline also identifies Ezy Grease as helping make compatible bush replacement and removal easier.

Using the correct lubricant is particularly important with suspension bushes because not every grease is automatically suitable for every bushing material or design. General-purpose grease, wheel-bearing grease and other automotive lubricants shouldn't be substituted simply because they are already sitting in the workshop. Whiteline advises that these bushes don't require lubrication during installation or subsequent periodic greasing.

The fitting instructions therefore take priority over a blanket rule about polyurethane bush lubrication.
