Car suspension has one job, which is keeping the tyres in contact with the road at the angle they work best. Everything bolted underneath your VW EOS exists to serve that, and the moment any of it stops doing its part, the tyres stop doing theirs.
This is the full Whiteline VW EOS range, covering the suspension components that control geometry, roll, ride height and compliance.
What Each VW EOS Part Is Actually Doing
It helps to separate the jobs, because people tend to lump car suspension parts together and then wonder why one purchase did not fix everything.
Springs carry the weight and set the ride height. Dampers control how quickly the springs move and settle. Bushes decide how much the mounting points are allowed to deflect under load. Arms set the geometry and hold the wheel where the alignment put it. Sway bars control how much the body leans relative to the wheels.
Those are five different problems. A car that wallows has a damper and spring problem. A car that wanders and will not hold an alignment has a bush and arm problem. A car that leans and takes an age to settle has a bar problem. Diagnosing which one you actually have saves buying the wrong thing twice.
Why VW EOS Factory Parts Run Out of Range
Manufacturers specify car suspension around a vehicle at standard ride height, on standard tyres, carrying standard loads, driven in a way that keeps most owners comfortable.
Change any of those and the factory parts are working outside their brief. Lower the car and camber goes negative while the arms swing through a different part of their arc. Raise it and caster washes off. Fit grippier tyres and the bushes deflect further because there is more load going through them. Add weight for touring or towing and the springs sit compressed before you have gone anywhere.
Factory bushes make it worse over time. Rubber is chosen for quietness rather than control, so it deflects under load even when new, then perishes and cracks with heat cycling and oil exposure until the geometry moves every time you brake or turn.
That is the gap a suspension upgrade fills, whether that is a performance car or a 4WD suspension upgrade for touring and towing. You are not fixing something broken, you are replacing parts that were specified for a car you no longer have.
Where to Start on Your VW EOS If It Has Never Been Touched
The order matters more than the individual parts, and getting it wrong is how people spend money without feeling much.
Start with what has worn out. Perished bushes and tired dampers are not an upgrade, they are a repair, and no amount of new hardware bolted on top will compensate for them. A car with soft bushes cannot hold an alignment, so nothing you do to the geometry will stay where you set it.
Then set the geometry. Once the mounting points are holding, an alignment is worth having, and if the car has been lowered or raised you may need arms or offset bushes to give the aligner range it does not otherwise have.
Then tune the balance. Sway bars are where you decide whether the car understeers or rotates, and they only deliver their rate once the bushes and links underneath them are tight.
Bracing comes last. Once everything else is holding, the structure becomes the next thing giving way, and a brace fitted before the rest is sorted will not make up for any of it.
What the VW EOS Range Covers
Polyurethane suspension bushes across every position on the car, from control arm bushes and sway bar bushes through to leaf spring, trailing arm, radius arm and panhard rod positions, in single kits, grouped front and rear kits and complete vehicle kits.
Suspension arms including control arms, camber and toe arms, radius arms and trailing arms, in fixed and adjustable forms, with correction built in for cars whose ride height has changed.
Sway bars in fixed and adjustable versions, front, rear and matched sets, along with the links, brackets, mounts and service kits that let them work.
Springs covering lowering kits with published front and rear rates, raised coil springs for load and clearance, and leaf spring components including greasable shackles, pins and U-bolts.
Chassis bracing including strut braces, cross braces and support braces for the structure it all bolts to.
Alignment correction hardware for the cars that have run out of factory adjustment.
Getting the Order Right at Install on Your VW EOS
A few things apply to almost everything on this page.
Torque suspension bushes with the car on its wheels at ride height rather than hanging on a hoist. Whatever position a bush is clamped in becomes its neutral position, so one tightened at full droop spends its life twisted and binds from the first kilometre. More new parts are ruined by this than by anything else.
Grease polyurethane on assembly with a silicone or PTFE based lubricant rather than a lithium or petroleum based one, which can degrade the material over time.
Get a wheel alignment after anything that changes ride height, removes play from an arm, or alters a mounting point. That covers most of the range, and driving away unaligned wastes a good part of what you just fitted.
Do both sides. A fresh part working against a tired one on the other side leaves the car behaving differently left to right, which is worse than having both worn.
Select your VW EOS to see the car suspension parts and 4WD suspension parts available for it, whether you are chasing sharper handling on a performance car, load capacity and control on a 4WD, or simply replacing factory components that have had enough. Every Whiteline component is backed by our warranty, a fitment guarantee and 60 day returns.

Suspension bushings are the link between your vehicle and its springs, struts and shock absorbers. Suspension bushings provide the movement and/or mounting points in your vehicle’s suspension system. Hence these suspension components can influence both the ride quality, steering feel, as well as the grip of the tyres, performance of the brakes, and stability of the shock absorbers. Should these suspension components be worn, an unpredictable and more to the point unsafe motor vehicle can be the result.Benefit Note: By matching key bushing, alignment and geometry products into one solution, Whiteline Essential Kits provide bang for your buck handling upgrades that simply Activate More Grip. Essentials include the famous front anti lift/ caster kit, steering precision rack and control arm bushings that deliver go kart like steering and next level grip to your vehicle.
Enhance ride quality and steering, an essential upgrade for more grip. Includes: Front Control Arm Lower Inner Front and Rear Bushing Kits, Front Steering Rack and Pinion Bushing Kit, Rear Trailing Arm Front Bushing Kit
SKU: KTA253Benefit Note: These Whiteline front lower control arms feature high-quality alloy, which offers considerable weight saving over original equipment quality arms. The reduction in weight of the arm, which is partly unsprung weight, brings the similar benefits to a light alloy wheel. In addition Whiteline has engineered significant geometry gains with +0.5deg caster and anti-lift improvements into these arms to optimise wheel alignments settings for street and track performance. Caster increases dynamic negative camber on the outside wheel whilst turning, offering more grip without introducing the tyre wear associated with static negative camber. Furthermore the increase in caster improves traction and increases the self-centring effect of the steering. Throw this altogether and the small change in additional caster improves the front-end grip and handling considerably. The change in lift and dive geometry enables the suspension to work more freely. Whiteline's rear mounted bushing combines the superior mechanical properties of synthetic elastomer formulation with high light alloy housing boasting anti geometry characteristics permitting smooth movement of the arm as the wheel moves up and down. Complemented by a front bushing utilizing an oversized heavy duty crush tube, resulting in dramatic improvements to steering precision most noticeably reduced 'toe-change' during hard cornering, creating impressive turn-in ability! The more positive location of the arm through the range of suspension movement and gains in alignment geometry ensures the car feels more responsive and engaging at turn-in, mid corner and corner exit.
Whiteline camber and caster kits are designed to improve cornering grip and vehicle straight line stability. This kit is supplied with dual offset bushings to give greater steering feel, more steering weight, greater precision all through increased static caster and dynamic negative camber gain. In addition, Whiteline bushings provide improved braking performance, and less under load alignment change.
SKU: W0503Benefit Note: Over compliant front control arm bushings have a huge influence on vehicle stability, steering precision and braking efficiency. Whiteline's kit is specially designed to improve deflection rates for improved response and chassis control.
SKU: KCA316Benefit Note: Whiteline Anti Lift Kits are primarily designed to improve traction and cornering grip under power. Increasing static caster to both front wheels. The special low compliance bushings reduce caster wind-back and maintain tighter tolerances between static and dynamic alignment settings. The additional caster coupled with the firmer bushings serve to dramatically sharpen initial turn-in response - forcing more consistent alignment angles through the corner due to the reduced bush compliance.
SKU: W53514Benefit Note: Worn front control arm bushings have a huge influence on vehicle stability, steering precision and braking efficiency. Replace worn bushings to as new condition utilising Whiteline's advanced synthetic elastomer bushings with core characteristics ensuring superior elasticity, memory and outright durability for all forms of driving applications.
SKU: W51989Benefit Note: Not all roads are flat, believe it or not sometimes the road can cause the car to pull either left or right. This Whiteline kit is supplied with a passenger side offset bushing to increase caster and a drivers side standard bushing to maintain OEM caster. This will allow the wheel alignment geometry to be adjusted accordingly to rectify the pull in the car by staggering the offset of the caster. This is a non tyre wearing geometry change that has a substantial effect on a vehicles ability to track straight.
SKU: W53196Benefit Note: Worn front control arm bushings have a huge influence on vehicle stability, steering precision and braking efficiency. Replace worn bushings to as new condition utilising Whiteline's advanced synthetic elastomer bushings with core characteristics ensuring superior elasticity, memory and outright durability for all forms of driving applications.
SKU: KCA472Benefit Note: A must for lowered vehicles, Whiteline roll centre and camber adjusting correction kit, is designed to correct roll-centre geometry using specially engineered ball-joints, whilst at the same time allowing fine tunning of camber settings with up to ½ a degree of negative camber gain, perfect for track days and spirited driving! Raising the front roll-centre (along with negative camber) results in a substantial increase to front roll resistance and a significant reduction in suspension compression on the outside front tyre during cornering. The result is more even weight distribution and improved tyre contact ultimately improving front end grip, cornering speeds and tyre life when driving the vehicle to it’s potential.
Whiteline's signature black bushings are made tough and offer outstanding abrasion resistance, high load bearing capability (4WD's, utes and towing), flexibility, increased tensile strength and chemical resistance to oil, grease, ozone and weathering.
SKU: KLC167ABenefit Note: Not many enthusiasts are aware that OEM and more importantly aftermarket sway bar effectiveness can be hindered by worn or inadequate mounts, drop links and lateral stoppers. Whiteline adjustable sway bar links are engineered to be up to the task with top spec, light weight componentry combined with a window of adjustability, eliminating sway bar preload on installation but most importantly ensuring the maximum output of the sway bar for improved grip and better handling.
Designed to fit a Whiteline performance 24mm sway bar. Whiteline's sway bar mount bushings not only boasts the latest in bushing material technology but feature a knurled ID specifically designed to retain grease. Whiteline bushings are made from the latest highest quality synthetic elastomer and designed to synchronize your suspension system for optimal safety, handling, performance, ride quality, longevity and reduced maintenance.
